Default I recently purchased a UL-1 Superior by aquacraft.

I am using lipo 4000 batteries and almost everytime I run the boat I melt the solder connection on one of the deans connectors from the esc to the battery. The batteries don't seem too hot, but at that point the boat stops running. I have not been able to get a full run out of the boat for this reason. I always run at full throttle. Anyone else have this problem or maybe a solution...........hedlp

it sounds like your wire is too small. or your soldering job isn't clean enough.

More than likely way to small of wire. This would explain the heat in the wire itself. Just a second thought, have you tried switching for a new pair of deans?

The first time it happened it was the original wire from the factory with their solder. I will see if I can get some heavier deans
