Hey does anyone know how well the new dxs3 spektrum marine receiver mr3000 works on water compared to their regular receivers?

Gday,
I have only had a couple of runs with the MR3000 and it is working well. I use it with the DX7 radio in a big HM tunnel. The MR3000 is still relatively new in Australia.
I am still using the SR3000 receivers in cars and boats with no problems

That's it for now. Are you going to try one?

Peter

I have not used one yet, i am debating on getting it. although i like the new sr3300t telemetry, it has rpm and head temp sensors which would be nice to know on a gas motor.

I use the spektrum AR 500(the one I use in planes)on trial in my 34inch cat. Seems ok so far, with my DX7 tx. Have more trouble with the esc's,burnt out the one supplied on second run. Now trying a 70a Jeti with a cooling jacket fitted......

thats what i am thinking of doing, getting a new 7 chan for my heli and using it for the boat as well. i have a jr xp6102 fm right now but im thinkin the 2.4 channel hopping would be a better choice for both applications

okay just your first post was asking about the mr3000, havent tried it yet but if running a dx3s with a none telemetry reciever you should ba able to connect the seperate telemetry module (think spm1325) to the reciever and get telemetry that way

hmm i'll have to look into that one! that would be a reason to get the dx7 since you can use that tx on the mr3000 and link the sr3300t with that module...that wouldnt be to bad of an idea.
