Frozen engines
Hello All,
This stay at home order has brought out several of my vintage nitro R/C's. All but one the engines are frozen. I'm guessing due to old fuel gumming up the motor. Whats the best way to flush the motors, all were mechanically sound and ran well prior to going into storage. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.
Also looking for recommendations for air filters both on & off road
Motors
2 x Novarossi CX-12
Picco Trinity 12
RB concepts S7 worlds

Heat and acetone are the best method. Heat first, add acetone, soak, rinse, dry, and repeat if necessary. Once free and turning, add oil (once acetone has evaporated).
As for air filters - MotorSavers are the usual go-to if an OEM filter cannot be had.

Certainly! I’m here to help.
BTW: those Nova and Picco engines are sweet engines. You don’t see them much anymore. Too bad. I have a vintage NIB Paris Racing modified Nova BX21SBK01.
