I was actually going to quote that (I erased it from my original reply), but decided not to. Figured he copied it off an old hobby site, just re-posted another scam ebay ad from last year, or just woke up from a coma after a year, and has yet to realize its 2011.

He won't for long, but he has to actually scam someone first in order to get caught.

how would that even work as a scam?

ebay is so buyer friendly you can get your money back even if they send you the perfect item, so if they send you something jacked up it should be even easier to get your money back right?

would the seller just send an empty package and expect the proof of delivery to show it was good?

OR using a paypal account xfer all the funds out of it within a week of sale, withdraw the money from the bank, and close the account. That is assuming its a legit bank(there are some banks in other countries that are made for stealing cash via transfers) or the account is legit. Like say they stole the bank account info of someone, and just link the paypal account to it, they can then get the paypal ATM card xfer all the cash that is sent to the account from an ATM, and then dump it.

Or the guy could be an idiot, and have it hooked to his bank account to xfer the cash to it.
My buddy few years back ordered a laptop and the guy pretty much jumped ship after xfering all the cash out of the account, and closing his bank account. Ebay did NOTHING no refunds not a damn thing(I also lost a hundred or so like that a while back). Him, and everyone else that ordered one had to go contact the police in that state, along with the FBI to have the dude tracked down.

Anybody that thinks this could be legit needs to have their head examined. It says he has sold 20 of them. He'll pull it from the account, close the account, and his ebay and have some extra spending cash soon im sure.

Yep. Listing is gone ... pulled by e-bay-of-pigs. This is what I got when I tried to look at the listing...

This listing (190555408828) has been removed, or this item is not available.

•Please check that you've entered the correct item number
•Listings that have ended 90 or more days ago will not be available for viewing.
