1st outing of my custom 1/5 scale stampede.

gentle driving for its 1st day out. driveshaft popped off a couple of times, as i had the rear suspension to high.

still, i will need to re-think the driveshafts, to make them stronger.

handles pretty nice tho!

Nice, came out well. That dirt looks really fun to drive on. Why do you keep saying "oww!" though lol?

oh, i also blew out a ball bearing on one of the rear hubs.

the kid that had the chassis before me didnt take the best care of it.

I have a VXL bearing kit, and will go threw and replace the rears.

The way the truck drives is pretty cool.

in the vid, i have a 3s lipo. seems i geared it down more than i needed to compensate for the larger tires.

So i will gear up a couple of teeth.

Im open to any driveshaft mod ideas you guys have. dont need them longer, just need them stronger!

That thing really moves... almost looks like it's 4wd.

Ok i got a way to fix the cv from popping out. taker two outer cv and connect them to the axel and the diff you may need to shorting the one you glue. Next take the one that slides into the outer one and cut the end off that has the the little x swivel and use some C&A to glue it into the outer leaving a good bit sticking out enough to make sure it can slide into the other and have enough to keep it from popping out check the pic

Get some metal telescopic axles from RC4WD or something.
