hot convert my mbx4 rr to a xr? please help
i have a mbx4 rr and i want to make it into a xr! i was told that the xr sits the engine back a lil more! is this true? what else is different between the rr and the xr? and where can i find this conversion kit? and what do i need to do? thank you

i actaully posted on this three weeks ago when i first got my mbx4-RR. After reading your post on a good setup for a tight track i would keep your RR. the RR is better suited for a small tight track where as the XR is made for a longer more sweeping track. However you would basically need a new chassis, center universal joints both short and long, the XR uses a full aluminum center diff brace which is a good upgrade for the RR anyway, and there are a coupla other little parts that come with the XR that aren;t totally nesacary for the conversion. honestly you would be better finding a roling chassis and just swhicthcing you equipment per the track you run on. I like to run tight courses and what not so i just left mine as a RR
