Default body dragging?

Hi, finally got my first real rc car (tamiya tt-01d), so I'm pretty new to the hobby. Got it used with a bunch of stuff. Anyways, when I put a body on it, the body scraped the floor. How can I fix this?

That's definitely the obvious solution, however if you put oil in the shocks, this will refresh the stance of the car too

Was the body not trimmed properly perhaps?

the body was trimmed right, it just sits low on the posts. I put fresh oil in all the shocks when I first got it, so I'm pretty sure phmaxmius suggestion is what I'm looking for. Is there something I would use to go about doing that though is what I was moreso wondering
like would I just use a body pin underneath the body?

Pretty much what you said put a body pin under the body where you want it to sit, and to hold the body on put one on top. Its actually a common thing with RC's to require this only thing is some companies give a little felt, or plastic washers so you don't potentially scrape the paint off the body in that area

I've found these things very usefull in the past.
These just slide over the stock post
its just a neater way of doing it

those look pretty nice, definitely an option
anyone tried magnetic "stealth" posts? I like the idea of not drilling through my new rx7 and having posts sticking out.

I've use the clip on stealth body clips and they are no good. One little bump and they pop off.

The plastic washers work well when placed just above a body clip. I have made some in a pinch out of old laundry detergent bottles.
