Help with OLD Vintage rc car parts.
I aqquired an old SIGMA GE2 rc car last xmas, brand new, never run, not fully assembled, etc, from a guy who had it for about 15 years. After finishing it off it ran great for 3 tankfuls but then destroyed the gearbox. I haven't been able to find any info on the car,company or design. Hopefully someone can help find some parts for it.
It is a forward facing rear engine design with a seperate transaxle type gearbox with a pinion gear driving a crown wheel with two reductions before the shafts exit out near the
bottom of the box to drive the half shafts & wheels.
It is a 1/8 scale with a 20 size engine.
does anyone know of any cars/buggies with this layout that I could get a gearbox for,
even with some modification to fit?
any & all help appreciated.
