Default question about the wheel on my remote

does anyone know how to get the wheel off of the futaba pistol grip remotes? I want it to match the wheels on my car. I took apart the remote and tried to take it off but there is no screw holding it on, and when i tried to pry it off the plastic peice that holds it on broke. It was not a big deel it just chipped. I anyone knows how to get this off i would really apreciate it. thanx

hm...i had an old futaba (magnum jr. or something) and it came off by taking off the little button on the front of the wheel in the center, under which there was a screw.

I think by calling you squids, he was trying to insult you. (My opinion)

No, I understand that, I just don't understand what purpose it serves...I guess he knew how to take wheels off of radios decades before us newbies.

I agree Cheech. That's a good way to get yourself kicked out of a Family like this one.

the silver cover on the front of the wheel is actually a sticker.I thought it was plastic. anyways i figured it out and will have pics up shortly. It looks really slick.
