Default Engine for Losi

Hey guys, is there any way to make a Trinity Picco XP (light purple head) work on a Losi XXX-NT? The engine is non pull-start and has a pilot (SG) shaft and a R/ exhaust port.

Will it fit an old rc10 as well? Thanks for the input.

I think so....if you have both why not just test it out? But I do believe the XXX-NT uses an SG shaft so it should work. Btw what size is the engine?

I read a reply from Adam Drake on another forum regards the use of an SG shaft in an NT and he said no way, it required a threaded shaft. I asked if it was because the stock losi mount system would not work or was it because the SG shaft was simply too long, and never got a reply. I got a killer deal on a new .12 TR with an SG shaft i was going to try in my last NT, but i gave up 10th scale gas racing before i ever had a chance to give it a try.
As for putting an SG shaft in a GT, I don't see how it could work considering the short, short threaded shaft required to make the stock flywheel/clutch package work. Of course it could also be a simple matter of finding the right flywheel/clutch package.
