Default WARHEAD Duratrax Anything Goes Thread!!

Ok, i gonna start this Warhead anything goes thread..

It took me 2wks to complete my break-in due to weather won't cooperate much,,thanks boring break-in is over,,,bashing just started...

With 220cc fuel tank it takes 20+ min. to run dry.....I like most during shifting gear to 2nd very smooth, shocks stretches due to acceleration as if it's been lifted, engine roar turns to whinning and the speed kicks in, smoke left behind....such a sweet thing...more action to come..

I finialy broke in my Warhead eariler this week, I dont know if anyone else had a problem with starting the Bigblock but it was a pain in the rear so I went and picked up a starter box at the LHS well worth the $80 I took it out to the local baseball feild and my brother brought his savage out there gave him a pretty good run around until my dumb ass hit the starterbox and broke my upper control arm..so now gotta wait for the replacement.

During my break-in period got a hardtime, i even got blister in my fingers pulling it,,but now i know the adjustment of needle, try 3-4 mm opening of the carb(i'm talkin bout the opening gap of the carb) when u start it, it should not be heavy feel when u pull it..

btw, try to check this TIGERDRIVE at www.sullivanproducts.com,,maybe u'll like it...kinda cool..

Does anyone have an idea when they are going to release aftermarket parts for the Warhead?

I have had my Warhead for a week and just finished the official break-in period and can now begin the unofficial break-ing period. And sure enough, on my sixth tank the pull starter gave up the ghost. Cord pulled right on out. Spare on the way while I send this one back to DT.

BTW, Sullivan will have their Warhead specific Tiger Drive out at the end of February.

I have also contacted FlexTek about their making some Titanium arms and also RC Solutions about making a good roll cage. Will keep the group posted on how they reply.

Thanks wave for that link I will probably be chacking into that, so just to update everyone after my starter box incedent, the part comes in and I replace it..last week I was running it and hit my brothers rs4 my war head flipped over and alas the shock tower and diff case broke...the plastic on this truck is way toooooo tight you can imagine the rash of crap that my brother gives me since he has a savage and I have sat and watched him bash his all day...turst me I dont like that savage thats why I went with the war..I just cant wait untill some aftermarket parts are available.
