If you want a wing put it on the buggy the truck looks so much better without it but honestly, its your truck, if you like it with the wing then by all means go with it.

Maybe something different like aluminum or carbon fiber would look well.

here is the new look for the rocket boosted rc 10 had to cut away quite a bit of the body for the rocket ingnitor but it should be a little lighter without the big wheels an should be a little more streamlined

It doesn't appear to have graphite parts, so it's a normal XX.

man that thing was messed up nothing sierous but one wheel had a ball joint on top other one had it on bottom, it was missing like 4 screws and none were tight , he had the shocks all messed up. also the wheels that were on it wernt the right size so the where rubbing on the hubs. it came with the origanl ones tho so no prolbem there either but now with a little tlc its good as new thank godness it has the same 4-40 screws as the rc10

figured I'd show you guys my old RC10B2 since we're at it

fresh shell, freshly rebuilt motor, new batts, and it's about to get a new transmission from the parts car in the background, which I just scored here on RCU for dirt cheap

i trimmed it. that's the DejaVu Tu body for the B3. I bought 3 of 'em at the same time, lol, still have a clear one. Since it's for the B3, i had to trim the hell outta the wing...but i've got 6 more that're untrimmed, so i'll get it right eventually

I'll get some pics of my old Losi buggies that I'm half-assedly working on restoring right now...I know they're pre-XX age wise, but i'm not totally sure on the particular model.
