Open Wheel RC Cars
Hey RC Driver Editors,
How 'bout articles and reviews on open wheel RC cars. I know the Tamiya F201 is old and may be dying, is there anything else out there? I've heard about MLP Motorsports, but don't know much about them.
I know this is probably a very small segment of the total RC market, but with growing interest in the U.S. (I think, or is it just me) in Formula 1 IRL, Champ Car, ALMS, Grand Am, I think it would be great to promote alternatives to the usual monster trucks and touring cars.
I race touring cars because that's what's out there, but it would be great to be able to race something like MLP's F206F1 chassis at the local club every weekend. Maybe you can give these cars some PR.
I think it would be great for you to be at next year's Indy 500 with RC Indy cars instead of Mini-Ts (no offense to Mini-Ts).
You guys deserve some variety. How many more nitro monster trucks and electric touring cars can you review???
Thanks.
