Hehe, but that air has to come from somewhere.. Most manufacturers recommend a hole in the windshield so air can get inside your body to cool the head, and come out the rear. Also, glow plug filament temps depend on the amount of nitro your fuel contains.. The lower (20%) should use a hot plug, higher (such as 33%) would require a colder one.

Anyways, have fun with that!
Ah ok, well then there you have it. I bought 20% today and medium plugs, do you think I should get some hot plugs?
Yes, hot plugs =).

OK, sounds good. I ran it through the heat cycle break in and then a few tanks. It really rips...I love it!

I am having a hard time tuning it by ear, this is how I used to tune my planes. I notice a major tuning difference here though. I think I figured it out though. It has good punch and doesn't sputter going into the throttle. I did notice that when it got too lean it would cut out during throttle up, but I think I got the hang of it today.

Thanks for the help wubby!

Touched up the paint on the body and cut a cooling hole in the windshield.

Also cut out some more in the back for better access.

Ran about 6 tanks of fuel today. This thing is TOUGH! I am really glad I put the engine guard back on, it took a beating and not one scratch!

The body is going to be trashed, I still have to learn how to control this beast better at high speeds. The tires get such good traction and it is very touchy.

It leans out at about a half a tank and I am not sure what causes this. I did read that this is a common problem that is fixed by buying a new tank. It's not a huge problem right now so I'll just deal with it.

I got some video, not much, but I'll put something together and post it up.

The day ended for me when the header popped off. I was lucky and the retainer spring hooked onto the dog bone, so I was able to put it back together, but I had to take the tank off n stuff to get to it so i just quite for the day. plus one of the tires came un glued, big suprise there since I can never glue the tires right.

It's a friggin' blast to drive and that nitro sound really draws a crowd.

Yes, I did, but that field has large hidden rocks that will throw the truck off if it hits one. I plan to run it some more tomorrow some where. I need to find a field with some loose dirt. Do you have some time to meet up?

I also ran it at the empty dirt lot next to my apartment, not as fun since it is mainly asphalt.

I adjusted the front and rear toe in and I switched over to the 3PM. It just felt wierd using that MS radio. Like I said, I am stubborn for a bit, but I usually turn around. I took the Rx out of the TT01 Rally, having a hard time running that car since I don't want to wreck the body. It's pretty scratched up as it is. So...if it doesn't have an Rx, I won't run it.

I also was able to set the steering EPA to 70%, works much better now.

I also put some old tire foam in the battery compartment to cushon the pack.

I have just over a half gallon left. I also bought a temp gun today. So far so good.

I can only run 20-25% with this motor.

Yes, manual says 20-25%. I'll stick with that for now. Higher percentage means higher temps. themax temp for the 4.6 is 275 and right now it's running around 230.

Looks like I am wrong about the fuel percentage too....

I guess higher nitro means cooller temps......I'm so confused...LOL.
