It's a tough one, because it's from the early eighties. Their is a hint for you. I belive someone put a different RC made by the same manufacturer on here already too.

Ahhhh, RC Pro-Am. That is an awesome game that is RIDICULOUSLY hard!!!!! I still have it for my NES, but I only bust it out and play it every few years.
Anyway, back to the RC car that is being guessed. No, it's not a serpent. I want to give you guys one more clue, but it would make it far too easy to guess. Actually, I will give you one more. Chris, it was in the second half of the RC manufacturers you listed. I'm not going to tell you where at in the second part of the list though. I'll let this go for a little while longer and if no one can guess it still I'll give you my clue that will make this guess super easy.

No and No. Yeah, I knew it would be hard. Honestly, I've been dying to put this one in here for a while, I just had to wait for my chance. I didn't think anyone would get it, at least not quickly, but hopefully someone does soon before I have to give away the answer basically. The RC being guessed was a VERY high end and competitive car in its day. The company that makes it still makes RC, but I've never seen them anywhere except on their website. Let me tell you though, the new model they have out(they only make one model of RC car now) is probably the BADDEST pan car I've ever seen and the engineering is simply brilliant!!!!!! They also make gun parts. That shows you the quality of machining, tooling, etc... that this company has.

Oh boy Chris you are getting so close!! It's one of those two. Now can you figure out not only the brand, but the model? Nah, just getting the brand will be good enough; if you guess the model too I'll be blown away!!

GOT IT!!!!!!
Delta P12 SPYDER!!!! Or Delta TRC 12!!!!!
It could also be a TRC 12 as someone on a forum said this car was a TRC 12.

Here is what the poster said:
W"hat you have is an old TRC 12. I have one as well. Quite innovative at the time with its wide placement of the saddle packs and spring loaded T-plate. You can adjust the stiffness but tightening the nuts on the springs. The shock on top is an old Delta shock which was hard to get at that time. Those shocks were standard on the then expensive Custom Works Dominator. I think there were also screw on nylon straps that held down the battery pack. Again quite innovative then because everyone else used tape."
Here are some more pictures of the Delta P12 Spyder.

RE: [Awaiting Approval]
Real close Chris. You'll notice the rear suspension is different on the car you sighted, but it's a Delta. The car I posted is a Delta Fazer. I was fortunate enough to get one of these and an Edinger RC10, both in excellent condition for only $75 from someone on ebay who didn't know what they had!!! I even got a bunch of original parts for the Delta too!! If I can find their website again, it's really difficult to find, I'll post some pics of their new car that's sick!!!
