Default Need some insite on this kit

I am new to this hobby. Actually, I have never had a nitro rc before. I don't want to spend a bunch of money on my first car but I do want something that I can fix/upgrade over time. I like the RC10GT and I found this kit on ebay:

RC10GT - Complete Kit (Not Losi, Duratrax)

I love building and tinkering and have built several rc airplanes so the kit appeals to me. Can someone give me some direction or insite on this kit? Any thoughts are welcome.

TIA,
Scott

Ebay links do not work - you have to give the auction #

Is everything there to build a complete working car with nothing else needed including working engine?

That's what I want to know. It looks like it. But it says they are used parts? Is this worth the trouble?

If it is enough stuff to put together a complete car. It is worth trouble putting together. But hard to tell if you have all working stuff or not.

When you get a new RC car it is worth taking a part and putting it back together to know how to fix it when it breaks. It will break.

you better off getting a RTR Set off your own hobby store.

first you will get services, and you will be sure to get the car

There is no reserve and the bid is at $100 right now. For that price it seems worth a try.

it wont stay at $100...

i tried to buy a RC car off Ebay... and the only one that were selling for less than the usual price (around $300 for a RC10 GT or a XXX NT) were those which were in bad shape or werent accepting paypal...

I ended up buying this kit for $135 plus shipping. I'll have it in about a week and I'll let y'all know how the building goes. (I'm sure I'll have some questions)

3132736901 was a good deal, it was a gt rtr plus that was pretty much brand new. It went for only $163.00.
