Thinking about doing a seme scale truck build, probably going to use RC4WD parts. don't really want to crawl, more for trail running and generally terrorizing the landscape. Lots of choices out there, there's the Tamiya hilift, the SCX10, the Trail Finder, among other things. Would love to see some pictures of your rigs to get some inspirations. My girlfriend just made new cactus garden which is begging to be driven through... Carefully of course as to not damage any succulents.

Just a tip here, not trying to promote for spam or anything but scale4x4rc.org are forums that specialize in this and the members there have amazing builds. Thats where I got my inspiration for my scale 1/8 Camaro, you will not find better builders and sexier pics of scalers and trail rigs than that site. I'm not too much into the trail rig aspect, but the HL and SC10 are definitely 2 of the most popular platforms to base off of if not building from scratch. Check out some of the pic threads there, truly stunning what those guys do.

you may want to post this in the rock crawling section. also check out rc crawler, google it great place dedicated to crawlers of all shapes and sizes...

^^ Yeah I forgot to mention RCC, pretty much the same as scale4x4 except more crawler oriented. Most people are members on both forums, so there is lots of inspiration to go around. Be warned though, these guys have done everything in the book when it comes to originality- so its pretty tough haha
