Default Traxxas Stampede Help again



hi. I have an OLD stampede and i want to get a brushless system for it. I found the vilenon system and I was wondering if I get the vilenon system will I have to purchase anything else for my stampede (except a battery). Oh yeah, is it compatible ith my car anyway?

Gonna need metal gears in the tranny.Or just buy a vxl tranny off the bay.Other than that no.[8D]

Dont think you could buy the whole tranny, youd have to buy the individual gears, the metal ones.

Just stripped out something in my pede's tranny yesterday after less than 10 min. with a new 35A BL kit. At a minimum, you'll want the aluminum or steel idler gear and the upgraded steel-ring dif. Before the tranny ate itself, I also had one of the half-shafts pop out of the axle cup. I was able to pop it back in, but if you have plastic axle cups like I do, you'll probably want to get a CVD kit as well.
