Default Need help with a futaba receiver.

Well, I have a bit of a dumb question for you guys. I've just bought a Futaba FP-R102JE AM 2 channel receiver. It has three connectors, channel 1, channel 2 and BATT. The first two are ok, but I just don't get that BATT connector. It has three pins, I would understand if it had 2 pins (positive and negative).

So I'll ask you. What is that third pin for? How do i plug a homemade-battery-pack with only two wires in that?

The label on the receiver has BEC (Battery Eliminator Circuit) printed on it. Does that mean I can use an ESC to power my receiver?

There are two pins with a little curve above them on my reciever (futaba and my jr) these are the only two pins you need. I am not sure what the third pin does. If I remember right they are the 2 pins on the left side when you are facing the reciever.

Allright, I see that little curve you mean. Thanks a lot!

The third pin is not connected but it's there to ensure that the connector stays firmly in place
