Default TT-01 Or TL-01?

which car would be better for drifting? Im lookin for something cheap (both are an acceptable price for me) and upgradable. I have a Duratrax 8T ESC and Speed gem jet 11T double motor ready for it.

i have a tt01 i use for drifting. in the tt-01 the batt is mounted longitudinally and the tl-01 the batt is mounted transversly. both cars are real basic. mine drifted well right out of the box, well after a litle assembly. if you want something to just drift with id go for the tt-01. you wont need a 11 turn mod motor for it. and if you try to run that motor without getting bearings ur gonna end up with a melted hunk of plastic. and the stock drive shafts are wet noodles.

thanks.. finally an answer!! lol... so ill just need a radio (will a cheap futuba 2ch AM work?) do they make a lot of hop ups for this car? like CVDs and diffs and stuff? Im not really interesting in investing a whole lot in this car, since its a goin to be a dedicated drifter (my nitro is going to get more attention and money). Then ill just need ABS tires and ill be sliding sideways down my street (and into mailboxes until i can learn to drift properly).

I've just got a tt-01 for drifting, from what I've been reading all you need to do with the diff is keep the standard ones and lock them.

I personaly went with a TL-01 because I like the idea of equal weight distribution and I didn't like how the TT-01 was setup with the batteries.
