Default Hpi Sprint 2 CS

this is my sprint 2 counter steered to 80%

front and rear diffs are stock 32t
front center: 10t custom pulley (alloy)
rear center 18t from cyclone w/ sprint rear belt
18t pulley and custom non adjustable tensioner to keep tension on front belt
custom steering mod

front camber: -10
rear camber: -1

32/10= 3.20
32/18= 1.77

3.2-1.77= 1.43/1.77= .80x100= 80% counter steer

i have plans to go and try out 100% counter steer, i have a custom 20t rear center pulley!

anyone with a sprint 2 looking to counter steer? custom 10t front center pulleys to make your regular 50/50 to 50% counter steer with one pulley! PM me!

nice work! I have one just like it, if you run on asphalt and find that you need a bit more control, back off a few degrees on the negative camber.

the camber is basically for looks, when on asphalt, tires will grind down flat eventually making it back to 0 camber. but for me either way, it is more controllable on asphalt than it is one carpet. which is what the track has where i go to.

bunch of us do in NYC, I CS my sprint but didn't stay with it too long, I started building other stuff, but I think I'm going to bring it back out and put some serious time practicing with it. There is this one guy in club who CS his Sprint 2 and drifts it so damn good in such a short time it's unbelievable and on top of that he handles the radio with one hand, steers and throttles with one hand!! - I hate guys like that!!!! Nah, just kidding some people are blessed with good motor skills.

I run counter steer on my yokomo. Its becoming a huge trend now for those who have been into RC Drifting for a while.
