I am modifying the suspension on my 2wd slash with 103mm GMADE Piggy Back shocks in the rear and ProLine Power-Stroke rear shocks in the front with the protrac arms all the way around. I have never done suspension builds before and need help selecting oil and springs. I will be running in sand, dirt, some pavement.
-The rear is a little heavy with the VXL, aluminum tranny case, heat sink and I would like a suspension setup that gives me the most traction while avoiding bottoming out if I were to run small jumps. The rear needs more support. Currently installed with stock suspension and 2 large preload clips on each. What springs and oil weight are ideal for traction and support on the surfaces I mentioned above?
-The front is fine but when I make the front suspension long travel, it needs to be responsive and avoid too much roll. What springs and oil weight would allow extensive travel without rolling over?
Thank you for looking! Any advice is appreciated!<br type="_moz" />
