Sooooo I didn't want to spend the money on buying the 70$ link kit. So I asked my father in law to make me some out of aluminum channel and he suggested using a price of pipe to slide over the existing plastic link. It was a good idea. I won't at a tire shop and I had like 10 tire pressure gauges chillin in a cup gathering dust. I blew them off took them apart cut them to size and had to shave a bit off the plastic link but then shoved the tube from the gauge on it and it works the same. Its metal so it will slide and it doesn't let the links bend and twist. So, problem solved while saving a bunch of money. Its not necessarily pretty however the same idea is applied
