I am hopefully going to order some tires that will work on-road as well off-road. But my first upgrade might be a heatsink because I have a track that is all about turning that I made. As you can guess it is not that big and if you try to use full throttle you will launch over the whole track. So since I drive slowly most of the time the stinger motor is burning up when I'm done. I hope swapping out the motor for a fireball 19t will fix that problem.

The fireball 19T is a faster motor than what you have now - that's kind of going the wrong way.

You might consider a monster pro or p2k2:

and go with a smaller pinion gear - you'll get better acceleration, but less top speed (exactly what you need on a short, tight track)

Took the rustler out today for a run. I completly destroyed the track and replaced it with jumps. I now have a pyramid ramp which basically means that I cant jump it from and angle. I also made some smaller ramps. When I drove it I was really dissapointed with performance of the rustler. It spent most of the time on its back. With 1500mah batteries that means that I barely got any real runtime. I cant wait for my order to get here. I ordered a better battery, ca tire glue, and some motor spray. Am I the only person that gets alot of dirt under the battery? Also the body got really dirty but thats nothing that a little water and a paper towel couldnt fix. Maybe its just my driving. I am just really learning how to jump. It is alot easier on paper then what it is in real life.

I just made a list of upgrades that I plan on getting. Of course #1 is fixing all broken parts. But I plan on upgrading my charger, batteries, motor, tire, you name it. I got a chance to run on the street today and had the driveway all to myself because my parents had went out for a quick trip. In the short amount of time that they were gone was enough tiem for me to get a good run in and complelty kill the batteries. Some cat was walking in the street and I started driving around in circles in the street and you should have seen the cats head. It was trying to follow the truck and it looked funny. Then later on some guy stopped and watched my rustler when I took it out again. It was some old man walking some huge dog. It felt good seeing somebody else outside of my family watching and enjoying my rustler. lol. When I got out on the street it really showed that 20mph is not really that fast. When I took it in it was good to see that the temperature of the motor wasnt too hot. For the last run of the day, I took it back on my little jumping spot and jumped it some more. Didnt do too bad and it left some major trails and you can see on the ground where I was doing doughtnuts and stuff.
