well I just got the new reedy 1100 mah for my mini rc18t and put it on my charger at 4 amps. let it charge for a while went inside to check get some coke came back out into my outside room and it was filed with smoke along with my new reedy pack? what went wrong? who should replace the pack reedy or my vision peak charger? oh I used deans connectors and the polarity was correct... :-(

what went wrong? You charged a 1100 and 4 amps i would charge at like 1.5 MAX and thats pushing it the recomended quick is prolly 1.1 amps

really? i didnt know that. see my charger only has 2 settings 2 and 4 amps. i am very upset cause now i am out 45.00

yeah, 4A on those little packs is suicide. Don't blame the charger though, it was your mistake. Charge at the proper rate (the most I'd go is 2A, but I'd be sitting there with a temp gun watching it after 2 minutes) and it would be fine.

well cant blam me im a newbie i know that with a 2 amp charge on reg. packs provides a slightly longer run time but yeailds a slightly slower car versus a 4 amp charge provides more speed but yeilds a slightly lower run time. i thought the same applied for the mini's ...
