Default Cleaned My RC

Hey,

Yesterday, sick of the grime on my evader, i gave it a good cleaning. I removed the tires and electronics (ESC, motor, serrvo, reciever) and reassembled it w/o the elecronics. I then gave it a shower of denatured alcohol. I blew it dry with my brothers compressor. Unsatisfied with the results, i dissassembled the whole thing again, and washed all the parts with simple green, then pomolive dishwashing soap. Then i let the stuff dry, polished my hingepins, got rid of flashing, shimmed some stuff, and then reassembled everything. I now have a race ready truck in perfect condition. Thought id let you guys know.

yeah, at 100 psi using a basketball needle the air is enough to remove oil+dirt off the shocks. FOr larger areas i use a bigger tip.

i love my compressor, my dad has one and i have one, they are so frekin handy, USE WD40 it gives your parts a shine to them and removes every bit of dirt off of them, it covers up scuffs and stuff too

If you clean your truck or buggy after each use it stays clean a lot longer, I use denatured alcohol and no need to remove the electronics because it evaporates fast and when you use air it dries even faster and will not hurt the electronic parts. Then spray it down with WD-40 to help keep the dirt from sticking to it and makes for easier cleaning the next time
