Default short circuit?

Hi!
So far i had no problems with my esc. Today when i attached the wires in motor and batteries the wires of the motor accidently touched. This led to a circut. After that i connected everything as it should be. The problem that appeared is motor running at full speed and me not being able to control it. I touched the button to set esc and after that the motor didn't move. I could control it but it looked like it had only one speed-> when i press throttle a little bit the motor reaches high speed in a second. The esc is gm v12 no limit. I also opened the esc and everything looked fine (no damage).

O btw has anyone have instruction manual for gm's esc (v8 or v 12,...)
