I understand how to calculate gear ratios and all, but I dont know A) what pinion to use on a specific motor with specific spur, and B) using SkrapIron's method of calculating gear ratios, what kind of gear ratios can each specific turn motor handle without any damage to it, the ESC or battery pack?
I would appreciate some kind of equation relating the RPM, or # of turns of the motor to the Gear Ratios
Thanks for any help

hmm well you can find how much rpm your motor has by checking the company site.. they usually have it. usually you drop one tooth per motor turn you go down...(i got that from trinities site.) it works fine for me. im running 19/87 on my 13x2
