Default 3300's nimh on stock rc10b4

Hey guys I was just wondering if u could tell me if I could put some epic 3300's nimh on my b4. I already have a charger in mind and I was wondering if it would heat up the stock esc or motor. Would I even be able to run these batteries on my b4? THANKS FOR THE HELP GUYS!

The heart and soul of the buggy is the battery you choose. If you go cheap, your performance is going to suck.

Don't cheap out on the cells. You'll only regret it later.....

Hey thanks for the info 45mph pede but i dont know what site i could buy ballistic or promatch batteries from. I also was wondering if I should go with a stick,un assembled pack, or an assembled pac. I was wanting to go with the epic 3330's nimh stick because i dont know how to assemble batteries and figured if they were 70 dollars they would be really good batteries, but I guess not. If u say I should go with an un assembled pack plz tell me what I need to put it together and what i should get. Thanks 45 mph pede

I personaly pay for assimbled, because I cant put batteries togetter as good as they can, and its only a little bit more. I would go with side by side (SxS) packs from eather promatch or ballistic (promatch is preferable because they have more batteries in-stock as of late)

Dont forget to upgrade your connectors to eather deans or powerpoles.

I will bet my pede that the 40$ promatch batteries will be 100x better than the epics.

There all WAY overpriced, check out promatch's site there like 1/2 that price, also check out www.boomboombatteries.com for some good batts. I just got the word that he is now using promatch 3700's as well.
-Wes

EDIT: Yeah those will be awsome! 1.185 is pretty darn good

You would need some deans pro2 bars, solder, soldering iron, wet noodles, and connectors of your choice.

$26.86 for all that I think that is pretty good. I just dont really know how to solder. Oh yeah could u show me a solder to buy link for towerhobbies. You know one that will get the job done. See I figure if I do this it will still be cheaper than the epic stick and if what u say is true it will be better than the epics by far.

Solder: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXKX34&P=ML

I wouldnt get a soldering iron from tower, I like my weller 40watt as much as you can like a soldering iron. Its 19$ and you dont need anything much past 50watts. It comes with many different tips and a little stand... well worth the money.

Well im just wanting to get everything online and I think that solder will do. OH yeah for the battery pack I was wondering how I will charge them. Will i need any special connectors like the one the stick has. You know the connector that just plugs into the charge and esc. Something like this?http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXD171&P=0

wow, most of the time people actaully give reasons for what they say. Epics are CERTAINLY NOT garbage. they are my favorite packs. I garuntee Epic has more national, and world championships under their belt than promatch or ballistic will ever have. i have not even heard much about promach and ballistic and all i have heard is not very good
