i just bought the factory team conversion for the TC4 and preped it and finaly got it to the track and the batery would not stoy in the car if i barley tapped the wall. i would prefer not to tape the batery into the car. Is there a part that i need to buy or do i just have to tape it in. thanks for the help. Jason.

You have to tape it in... If y9ou didn't tape it in before your lucky you didn't have it fly out of your car

Sup jason. I have your exact ride. Ight, check this. I had the exact same problem. First, make sure you bevel the edges of the carbon. When you impact something, the sharp edges cut the tape and also gouge the wrappings on the battery cells, and may eventually cut into the actual cell. That helps. Second, the team now offers a TC4 FT battery hold down strap. Its like $20. Theres a pic on thier site. Last, if you go to Home Depot or Lowes, maybe even Walmart, they sell these handy-dandy litte Velcro cinch straps, they work great. I pulled my wrapper out of the trash to take a pic for you, sorry bout the chitty camera work. Check em' out!
