rear diff on T4

Default rear diff on T4

i think i messed up the rear differential on my RC10T4. any suggestions? it grinds a little when moveing and the tranny is ok cause i toar into it

clean everything, check the diff balls and the thrust balls. make sure your idler of diff gear doesnt have a buggered up spot.

sorry took me so long, had some personal problems, did as you suggested, cleaned it all, problem still there[&o], so i looked at bearings, think i am gonna try replaceing them, towerhobbies dont have them and my LHS was closed when i got there[:@], gonna go back tommorrow and order them, then if that dont work do i rebuild the tranny or use it as an excuse to get a 4wd buggy?

well, they must make front diff some where if it is caled a rear diff in other posts, or maybe other ppl have made the same mistake as me, and maybe just maybe it is called a rear diff cause that is what it is on full scale cars. wierd huh

Take it apart and clean it.Get some goo quality diff grease and make sure not to use to much.
