Default Which brushless?

I want to get a brushless sensorless motor, but there are so many choices that being a newb I dont know what to go for. Any suggestions or help?

Neu motors have been reliable in helis but do they work in cars?

The Hacker C40 motors seem nice , but does anyone have experience with it in car or can tell me how they compare?

Any help would be great!

i like to refer you to Mike at rc-monster. he has always been vary helpful for me. he even called me from New York to help me get my speed controller setup and then talked about the cars for about 45 mins.
warrior and mgm controlers are nice, the lehner and feigao are stong motors and the feigao is great for the price.

Default RE: Which brushless?

I've never heard of lehner or feigao but will look into. And I see we have a strong hacker believer lol. Any other suggestions out there?

I'm looking for something fast that has good torque and I don't care that much if I have to sacrifice some run time.
I'm not sure how turns, torque, batteries, top speed, and Kv all relate to each other so let me see if I have this straight.
Kv is the motors rpm per volt (not under load). The less turns the less efficent, but has more Kv. Also less turns = less torque? More Kv means you can get a faster car with less batteries. The more Kv the higher the rpm and better top speed but less acceleration.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

You got that right..... Anyways you pretty much have it figured out. Hacker, lehner, and feigao are all great quality brushless motors. What car do you want to put this in, also dont forget your going to need a brushless ESC.

What about Mamba and Chilli-Pepper motors? Are they any good?

I am a strong Hacker believer myself. I have one in my heli.

Probably a T4 is what im leaning towards, but I'm not 100% decided yet.
