RE: 4200 mah battery packs
There shouldn't be any issues other than the standard charging precautions. As with any NIMH battery you should slow charge them - say at about 400 milliamps - the first two or three times to get them conditioned and equalized. When you start fast charging them always keep an eye on them to make sure they don't get too hot while charging. As long as they don't get above about 130 degrees F while charging you are probably OK. (The lower the temperature the better - heat shortens the life of NIMH cells and may potentially damage them.) I don't have any 4200's myself but I have heard that they have somewhat higher internal resistance than the 3300's and the 3700's and that may lead to more heat buildup while charging - you will want to play with your fast charge rate to control the temperature they reach at the end of the charge cycle. Some of the newer chargers (The Duratrax Ice comes to mind) allow charging at a fast rate at the start of the charge then lowering the rate as the charge nears the end - this is ideal for NIMH cells.
