battery abuse?

Default battery abuse?

is it alright to charge your batteries the night befor? Im gonna start chargeing all my batteries the night before i race the next day.

It depends on the battery, of it's a NiMH, which I'm guessing it is, you'll want to boost them before you race, because they will lose some of their power overnight.

It's good to charge them the night before to keep down the heat buildup. Loswave is right about repeaking them before you race though - they'll have a lot more punch. The more you can keep them cool the better they will perform (lower temperature means lower resistance and therefore more current). If you can try not to run them more than twice a day - the run will heat them up and then charging them will heat them even more. By the end of the second run they'll be at about their best - if you try to get a third run out of them they'll seem flat (from experience).
