You would need a hot motor, 7 cells and a tall pinion. The problem with that is it's only good for short runs, not continuous bashing or racing. If you want it to go 30+ and still have good run times you need to go bl.

Someone said that they got 55mph without brushless, is that possible?

Yes it is possible, but most likely it was exaggerated figure.

A good 6 cell battery pack, average gearing, and a good 10t motor should get an Evader into the 30's.

If you could be more specific that would be great. Like what 6 cell battery? What 10t motor? What gearing?

I would really invest in a nice brushless if you want to go that fast in my opinion. Lower turn brushed moter= more maintanance.

yes but not cheap

if u want high speeds but not a big investment look into a good low turn motor i reccomend reedy ultra or trinity speedgems 9-11 t is what u want for speed
and then a good esc i reccomend a cheap tekin esc off ebay for under 40n bucks the 410 s2 is the lowest rated one u want

How fast do you think i could get with:

1) Speedgems Nitronite 12t
2) DuraTrax Streak Forward/Brake Hi-Frequency ESC J 12t

or

Instead of the streak a DuraTrax IntelliSpeed 8T Racing Reverse ESC

Battery pack - any SxS matched or at least zapped GP (IE Gp3300, Gp 3700, Gp4300) or IB (IE IB3800 or IB4200) pack will do.

Motor - Any high end Trinity or Reedy 10t would be personal choice, or if you're on a budget the Speed Gems and Orion SV2's are pretty good.

Gearing - just whatever's average for the motor/tire setup on your car.

Personally, I would just go brushless. The only brushed motors I ever run anymore is the 27t Orion in my big helicopter and the two P2k2's in my Clod.

Should break 30 with good batteries.

You should see my B4

Could the DuraTrax Streak 12t Esc Work with a Trinity Pyrite 10 Turn Double???
Nope, the ESC would just overheat and possibly get damaged. You'll need to get either an ESC with a 10t limit or no motor limit to run a 10t motor.
