Default Castle ESC's and Other Motors

Hello! I have two Sidewinder 4600kv setups in buggies I have... I've been told these are "sensorless" motors (4600kv Castle motors) and they don't know what direction to go from a dead stop and throttle mash... So, I need to know what motors are "sensored", brushless, and work with the Castle ESC's so I dont have to buy ENTIRE new setups... Thanks!

you can't hook up the senor to a castle esc, you need a hole new setup, you can run a sensord motor, but the sensor will not operate

Why would there be a problem with your setup? The motor and esc are sold together, and are ment to work with one another; are they not?

They work but according to the LHS people... the motor, at idle/stop/low speeds, and I will quote....

"Does not know if it is going in reverse or forward due to being a sensorless motor"

I will take some video of these things these next few days to show what they are doing, maybe that will help... but its annoying as hell and I am just tired of it... Something has to be fixed, but everyone says thats how it is. If I have to gut these buggies and sell the Castle junk then I will, just trying to put a nail in the coffin.

ummm...my motor seems to 'know' what to do when I tell it to do something...I mean, he follows simple commands like 'Forward, Ubu!' or 'Backward, Ubu!....and when I want him to idle: 'Sit, Ubu'! Hell, when I mash the throttle hard it means: 'Rollover, Ubu!!"
