Default ta05 gearing

i have just gotten a ta05 and i race RS 540 class at the moment im running a 70 spur gear and a 22 pinion gear just wanted to know how and what to use to get more speed on the straights thanks

Depending on how big your course is, I'd go with a 5.5 to around 6.5 FDR.

I would switch to 64 pitch, 48 pitch, or Tamiya's 04 module. Otherwise you'll have trouble gearing high enough since the 06 module gears are tough to find in sizes above 24 or 25 teeth. On my TA05, I'm running a 96 tooth 64 pitch spur with a 43 tooth pinion for my 13.5 brushless for a FDR of 5.14 on a smaller size course (20 yard straightaway).
