Hi all, I have a Great Planes Kunai and am loving how it flies. The problem is, it appears that the included 1400 kv motor cannot handle the amount of power put out by the ESC, as my motor has burned out - stopped running, and there was a puff of smoke. I found some technical data on the motor, and it appears that it only handles about 15 amps, while the plane's ESC puts out 20 amps. I could go to an ESC that puts out fewer amps, but I think that will mean less performance. I have not found a 1400 kv motor that is front-mounted (the shaft goes through the mounting plate), has a diameter of 28 millimeters (to fit in the fuse), and can handle a 20 amp ESC.

Any suggestions?
