Hi, after trying several rc planes .. i realized that my favorite form is e-gliders.
I have tried the Ascent (who hasn't really), a Ptero-X, an Omei 2k, and have just ordered a Phoenix 2k.

(all brushless - mostly powered by a Hacker A20, or an E-Flite 450 and the Phoenix will get an E-Flite Power 10
used 18 to 40 Amp ESC, 1500 to 2100 mAh 3 cell LiPos and always Graupner folding props)

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE eGLIDER and why?
What motor/ESC/battery combo do you use?

Uh - I think this would be better if posted in the RC Gliders, Sailplanes and Slope Soaring or one of the Electric Planes forums since this is the beginners powered plane forum, which does very little with gliders or ep.

Maybe if one of the moderators is feeling really nice and generous they may move it.

Oh, and as far as my favorite glider? Craft Air Viking.....

I have about a dozen gliders but only one electric glider. I just purchased a completed Easy Glider electic from a club member. I believe it is the Multiplex brushless upgrade package:
BL-400 6D motor, BL-27A ESC, Gears, Hub, Loctite and lube. Part# M992451

Pulls 26 amps on the bench on 2S 2100 Lipo pack for 190 watts. Strong set-up. I like it a lot. I would recommend the this package.

I dont' have a lot of time on the plane yet, but it seems to thermal very nicely. Flight is similar to the Regular Easy Glider when the motor is off. The electric set-up adds about 8 ounces, I believe.
