Default EVSD-5U-EVO multifunction valve

Help! Hey guys im on my 3rd valve and still have no luck. The first 2 had a faulty pressure valves , sent them back now my 3rd one will not operate via the transmitter , im scratching my head trying to figure whats going on , it works in the manual mode then I reset by turning off and back on , and the transmitter wont operate it , the manual light does go out and changed the harness out no luck , the gear channel works coming out the receiver. Todd and Linda @ Dreamworks have been fantastic in getting them replaced quickly, was wondering if anyone has any advice if im doing anything wrong or missing something about the setup . Sure like the idea of using it , but dont know about the reliability. Thanks , Bill

if it works manually u probably dont have enough pressure in the system and its in the safety mode. got to make sure ur above the minimum setting for it to work.

I'm sure you might have already tried it, but what happens when you reverse the retract channel?

If you can't get it sorted, give Todd a call during working hours, he knows those valves inside and out!!

Yea I tried reversing the channel , that didn't make a difference . it worked fine for about 10 cycles last week when I installed it . then it it stopped working , now I can get any more than 25 lbs of pressure and its blowing out the vent hole in the side . I'm sure my cylinders are not leaking internally or externally . Thanks

Okay got you, if it was working then you can narrow it down to leaking cylinders or bad valve. You might want to pinch off the cylinder lines to make 100% sure it's not a cylinder causing your problem. I know a lot of people have had trouble with the valves only to find out it was cylinder causing the problem. I'm not saying that's your problem, just make sure it isn't.

Hope you get it sorted out.

Are you sure the unit is receiving the correct voltage?

I do not mean to insult your intelligence, but do you have it plugged in to the receiver the right way??

+1, when I received mine and before installing it in my jet, I tried it with an old Nicad battery, it was acting erratically, when i hit the brakes the valve stop working. When i changed the battery for an A123 pack, everything was working smooth. No problems at all!
