I agree with Kev-o - go with a Comp arf if you want a tough bird. The Flash with the one piece wing is esp durable.

If you want a direct opinion on that, look up Motors and Rotors in the UK and talk to him on the phone about the Flash. He told me some stories in person that were a real testament to how strong the Flash wing is.

C Ya in Princeton

Oh ya - and IMO - run like like a scolded cat from Symaster - my wing was missing a spar and the storeis go on and on....

I have to agree with the other fellows recomending going with CARF vs skymaster. I have both a CARF Hawk and Skymaster Hawk and I can tell you there is no comparison in the quality. The engineering and functionality of the carf product is FAR superior. They don't have nearly as many planes to choose from but, what they do have is quality. The only advantage Skymaster has is the beautiful external paint job but, that too adds significant weight over the CARF.

I hope this clears up the outrage over my post regarding flying 3D with a Mig 29. When I read Dr Scoles post I completely missed the statement that he had been flying a Rookie. That would have alerted me to the fact that he is not a wide eyed newbe to jets. Had I seen that key, I would have responded in a very different manner or not at all. My sincere apologies to Dr Scoles for my inappropriate remark. As for the offer to fly 3D with a Cub. If it's on floats, I'm in. I flew a friends 1/4 scale Cub at a local float fly and loved it. Quite a departure from flying my jets. My winter project will be building a 1/4 scale Cub with floats.
