RE: Airbus 310 test flight
You say huge ?
this is the smallest of the airbus line that I am making.I thought as a test bed, it would be better to start with something "small".

RE: Airbus 310 test flight
That is awesome!!
I would like to do an airliner someday.... but there has been a very limited number of kits in the world and the price is very high for what you get. One of the kits I speak of comes with just the fiberglass parts needed for $800 then you have to order huge hunks of foam for $800, the gear is $800... and you have to pretty much scratch build the thing after that. I've kicked around the idea but not sure I want to tackle that big of a project. The idea of a fiberglass kit I like much better
When do you plan to have this plane released? do you have an idea on pricing? will shipping to the US be a problem?
I would like to convert it to EDF, how big are the inlets on the nacelles?
Thanks much for the info, I will be following along

RE: Airbus 310 test flight
I have always shipped my kits world wide and make no exception on the airliners, but due to the size of the boxes it will be pricey.
The prices of the kits are not calculated yet, also not the delivery start.I expect the release at the end of the year, depending on my condition - I`m now quite tired from the hectic build of the prototype, beside making the molds of the 727 and daily work, next month JetPower,............
The nacelles of the airbusses are large enough to take 120 mm fans.
The 310 MRTT will be flown at JetPower of course !

Looks great, had a look at your stand at Jet Power last year, have always fancied an airliner its something different, what sort of wing section did you use

RE: Airbus 310 test flight
The airfoil is not a NACA 4415.
I have made the wings, so only I know about the layout.
By the way, the A310 MRTT is something that Kranz never produced.
