Default Speed Brake on YA F15

I was curious from those of you flying the Yellow Aircraft F15 as to whether or not anyone is using the speed brake on landings ???

Thx in advance for your comments...

Thx Wayne...

What size turbine are you running in it. Do you find yourself maintaining a fair amount of throttle when using the speed brake ??

Thx again...

Bill

So, what are the advantages/disadvantages to using the speed brake? More power required on approach? More/less stable airplane control on approach? Less landing rollout?
Regards,
Gus

I never use mine in flight but just as its touching down ill hit it
Helps settle the airplane down and will prevent it from bouncing back in the air.

I used it when I felt like doing a tight steep approach to keep from gaining speed on the decent plus it looked cool. I had it on a spring loaded switch on my transmitter so I could pop it out if I was coming in a little hot and release it quickly if needed. My plane was powered by a jet central super eagle.
