Leaky Main Gear Strut Skymaster 1/6th F-16
Need help from former or current Skymaster 1/6th scale F-16 owners/builders. Both of my main gear struts leak air. One is super slow and can be lived with. The other strut was tolerable as it would hold air for an entire day or weekend of flying. Now it loses air in a matter of 10 to 15 minutes and cannot be tolerated. I did not build this bird but it appears that to remove the part of the strut that holds the air charge and provides the shock absorbor action is not exactly easy.
I am surely not the first person to have an air leak issue with these struts. I am wondering where the possible leak spots could be ? I am wondering (and hoping) the leak is around the fitting where the air charge is applied. I am guessing this is the only place where it could be that could maybe be fixed without removing the strut.
Need help and advice from others who might have seen this in the past and know how to fix it easily, if it can be fixed easily.

Could be from the seal or the brass filling valve you can fill it and put it in water to check where the leak is from

if you have a old cyno activator bottle wash it out and fill it with a strong solution of water and washing up liquid then charge the strut and spray the solution over the strut this should show up any leaks without contaminating the inside with water then replace worn items as necessary
