I use KT140G2. I think it's the ideal power / weight ratio.
According to the PowerBox GPS, the speed of the model is 296 km / h. If I focus on reaching the maximum speed, reaching a speed of 300 km / h should not be a problem. ***winter***

That was a nice flight, thanks Desert Fox for sharing.

Do you know where he got the wing tanks?

Has anyone put a Swiwin 160 or 170 in theirs? I just mocked it up and the turbine is really high in the pipe.

Silly question but did you try flipping the pipe over and see if it lines up better? The tabs are really easy to bend for a small adjustment as well. I'm just about ready to mount my K160, I have the seam side of the pipe towards the top.

Also does anyone know where I can order some EC3 bulkhead type mounts? I can find the MPX bulkhead mounts on Esprit and Dreamworks but I can't seem to find any for EC3.

Thx!

if you can’t find any, I can 3D print some and send them. A little bulkier than the MPX ones, but work fine. LMK

For the ec3 if you look on Amazon....they have one that’s all in one piece...

I did not try that yet, but I can lift the front of the pipe. Won't that cause thrust angle issues and even point the exhaust to the top of the pipe and hurt it?

The way they have the tabs mounted mine definitely fit better one way vs the other. I would only slightly* bend the tabs if you need too and I only say that because mine were pretty bent when the pipe came out of the box.

I can’t seem to find the EC3 mounts on Amazon anyone have a link? If not Dansy I might take you up on your offer, thanks!

So, first time installing smoke, I insert the tube from the back but then how do you guys bend it all perfectly around the bell mouth? Do you remove the bell mouth and bend the tube and re-install it? Also what’s the best way to bend the tube without putting a kink in it?

‘I’m happy to send what ever you need.....but the shipping is very slow at the moment.

For the smoke tube before I inserted it in between the pipe like you did but remove the cone then did then bend one at the time.....test fitting the cone then bend the back end...

Thank you, I didn’t see this until just now for some reason! Taking the bell mouth off is the part I was missing..

Ok I have the one end by the engine bent but how the heck do you bend the exhaust end? If I try to bend it it puts a lot of pressure on the pipe? What am I missing/doing wrong?
