These are custom built and painted models at the BVM Jets Florida facility. Rob and his crew are producing one fine jet aircraft!

So.. I flew the EVF 12S 9er version at Best in the West. With batteries (12S 7700's in a 3 x 4cell configuration), it weighed right at 21 pounds. It's built in the shop in Florida, and the quality is exactly what you'd expect to come out of BV's shop. The landing gear is new with trailing link main gear. This is really more to ease shock loads transmitted to the airframe from rough runways than to change the way a Bandit lands, which is already superb.

As for the way it flies.. It's a Bandit, which is to say, it's awesome. I flew a 5-minute flight and didn't feel like I gave anything away to the turbine powered Bandits except it did run out of steam on a LONG upline.. but high enough that it was hard to see so who cares.

Short version: You will absolutely love the new Evo..
