Very happy to see customers receiving their raptors!! Guys feel free to post the pics and questions on here.
As most saw at Kentucky jets mine got a little boo boo and needs some repairs. That is why I have not kept this thread going and I also moved along with allot of other things had me busy in life. I am waiting for a new fuselage then I will have the F22 back in the sky. So here is what happened to mine..... While exploring the huge flight envelope of the F22 Dirk was filming me and egged me on saying I bet you can reverse course by doing half a back flip and fly out of it.. Well needless to say I tried it lol. So I had the F22 flat and level at a lower speed then flipped her on her back and flew out of it with an inverted high alpha. It worked and was fun! while I was in the inverted high alpha though I had a flame out and was just able to conserve enough energy to right side her and land in the grass. The airplane didn't get much damage at all from the landing but she had and engine fire the did burn the plane up pretty good.
So looking at the bright side of things I will be getting a fuselage without the big panel lines and mine will be closer to the production F22s so I can help you all more with builds since it will be the same. I wont be getting the fuselage for a little while since we want the factory to get caught up before we get them side tracked on demo models. Hopefully she will be back in service for FLjets.

Ok guys. My new F22 is starting to arrive! very excited and the new panel lines and other changes are fantastic! I was going to just add to the end of this thread but at this point after seeing the new one this thread will get closed. I will start a new thread since the production aircraft is so much different. The first one I built was basically a one off build. I am completely blown away how nice this new one is. They have really produced a great aircraft that's worlds above the others.
Buck sorry I never replied to your question. Guess I didn't see it. For the rates I don't use rates. I do know the ailerons on the F22 where maxed out on throw.

Hi Gunradd, Hi everybody,
- Do you have a good CG for me, as I need it as soon as I start the building in order to structure the equipments location inside the plane.
- Do you use only one electrovalve for the landing gear ? Or an other electrovalve and a sequencer are needed to operate separately the unlocking piston ?
Thank you for your help.

255 to 285 mm back from leading edge. I started at 285 and never changed it.
to be honest I don’t remember about the gear. I’ll check tomorrow since I’ll be gutting the old f22

ok got mine apart. All I did was use 2 inline airrestrictirs on the main gear cylinder up lines. That slows them down enough to let the gear unlock first. So no extra valve needed .

Similar thing on my F-14, im going to add a pulse on the up on this gear to do the same, just by shear volume the lock/unlock should actuate before the gear but just in case.

So I’ve been looking over the new production model and I am blown away how well it’s done and by all the changes.
here are some pics from the old one and new one.
now has 7 fiber hinges on each rudder.
longer spars carbon fiber tube:
lots of carbon in the wings now. Before was thick wood.
panel lines fixed
quick removal mechanism for rear stabs
metal on the exhaust area. My first one burnt bad in that area
