Default The U.K. JMA at Buckminster Lodge

The U.K. JMA are holding a weekend meeting at the BMFA National Flying Center, fully risk assessed under COVID 19 precautions.

Unfortunately the weather did'nt play ball early on so only static photographs for now.

D.W. brought along his CARF Bolt - Jetcat 220 power, PB Core radio, PB Mercury, Electron Retracts, MAP UAT, it really does look nice, easy to rig and prep for flight.

Well day 2 at the JMA Buckminster Lodge meeting did not fair any better than Saturday due to a a rather troublesome gusting cross wind.

However Dave W did manage to test fly his CARF Bolt despite the challenging conditions, note the windsock in one of the photographs.
It is good to report the Bolt has impeccable manners, and is very fast, and very smooth, although most of the test flight was flown at half throttle to check the systems and trims.

A few photographs from the day.

A few more static photographs from the hanger - Note the CARF parking section only :-)

CARF did dominate the weekend, weapon of choice if it had been flyable!
