Default Turbine oil amount

I know it’s 1 quart of turbine oil to 5 gallons but how many ounces do I put in 1 gallon container..thx!

quart is 32 oz. 32 oz / 5 gallons is 6.4 oz per gallon

1 gallon is 128 oz 5% of 128oz is 6.4 oz like above

Visually divide the fluid in the gallon then put a mark at each quart, now you can pour the quart directly from the plastic gallon can.

Oh for crying out loud...... the rate these Turbines burn fuel, it's time to get yourself some five gallon containers for your fuel. I prefer the semi'clear versions with large screw on tops with handles to carry them in one hand, and air vents. Makes 'em easy to fill and mix the quart of Turbine oil in as you fill the jug and I ALWAYS use a biocide as well as an anti-static additive. Then it's really easy to see if you should happen to develop some of those nasty fuel system clogging "bugs".

Use metric system and avoid all the hassle.. 😉

Or use a supper computer to calculate to the drop the amount of oil needed per gallon ( I think NASA will let use one for a million a minute or so )

This works for any amount of fuel. Use your phone calculator.

gallons X 128 = ounces X .05 (5%) = oz oil
