I have personally flown the PST / WREN size motor on the Kangaroo, AV8R, BobCat, BVM F86 and HotSpot. Very good performance with 50 - 70 oz of fuel onboard. I would compare it to a good old pattern ship ( Dirty Birdy, Curare, etc ) You would be surprised what 12 lbs can push around!

You are most welcome in Thailand especially at PST Jets!!

Even the J600 is more than enough for the Rookie. J600 with Kangaroo clocked at 290kph. The lastest Rookie with J600R flown at top speed of 300+kph...scarely speed and you will automatically throttle down. These jets are very slick and will move very fast with 12lbs+ turbine...

What is 300 + KPH converted to MPH?

Never mind I found it, 186MPH sounds pretty fast for a Rookie with a J600R. Was that out of a dive?

Yes..high speed passes were from a shallow dive. I just kept the radar gun pressed to record the highest speed. The radar gun was pointed directly at the jet coming in and just let the aircraft pass by. Actual number for the Kangaroo was 292kph and most of our jets are averaging 270-280kph. I use Applied Concept Stalker radar gun.
